Eating for two is a common misconception in pregnancy. Simply eat the right amount of calories for your baby's growth and prevent being overweight. This will allow you to return to your pregnancy weight easily in postpartum period. 300 extra calories in second trimester and 450 calories in third trimester will be enough.
