Dr Christina Ong is a paediatrician practising at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore.

Her subspecialties lie in the management of children with gastrointestinal problems including abdominal pain, reflux, nutrition and growth issues, constipation, diarrhoea and rectal bleeding, among others.

With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Ong is an experienced paediatrician who also specialises in treating children with general medical conditions.

Dr Ong is dually accredited by the Singapore Medical Council as a specialist in paediatric medicine and paediatric gastroenterology. She is one of the few paediatric doctors in Singapore who can perform both gastroscopy and colonoscopy in children and adolescents.

Dr Ong is a former senior consultant and head of the Gastroenterology Service, Paediatric Medicine, at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital until 2018. She is currently a visiting consultant to the hospital.

She has also held positions as an assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Medical School, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

As a key opinion leader in the field of paediatric gastroenterology, Dr Ong is frequently invited to lecture at international and local conferences. In 2018, she was the organising chairman of the inaugural Singapore Paediatric Clinical Nutrition Meeting.
