Exercise during pregnancy is recommended after first trimester and is safe. Exercise is beneficial for both you and baby.

Too much exercise can be tricky in pregnancy. Similarly, strenuous exercise is risky. It is important to put safety as first priority. There are exercise warnings signs that you should be wary to change your exercise routine.

Do not push yourself to exercise if you feel too tired. Expect poorer fitness as your pregnancy progresses. This is normal as the physical demands of pregnancy increases. Pay attention to your body and be aware of the warning signs, stop exercising if you notice any of these symptoms.

  1. Vaginal bleeding

  2. Painful womb contractions

  3. Dizziness or feeling faint

  4. Shortness of breath

  5. Chest pain

Above all, listen to your body and stop when necessary.
